Worship Life

The Purpose of our worship life is the joyous celebration of the mercy of the Triune God. Our goal is to give thanks and praise for God’s wondrous mercy and to receive the Word and Sacraments with believing and joyous hears so that we may go out and serve and celebrate our Lord. Our worship life is built around the two main resources of the ELCA - the Lutheran Book of Worship(LBW) and With One Voice(WOV). Currently our liturgies of Holy Communion are from the LBW and our non-communion liturgies, are from WOV. We celebrate communion on first and third Sundays and Festivals. Our Choirs and the creative people of our congregation provide a lot of variety in our worship. We seek to be attentive to the children in our midst; we have age appropriate bulletins, activity bags, children’s sermon and a nursery available. You will find our worship style relaxed and not rigid and formal. We invite you to come as you are, so if you are on vacation, don’t worry about what to wear.
