The Trinity Belltones, our Handbell choir, had their start in
November of 2003 at Stone Methodist Church when they had their
first practice using Stone's handbells. After a month of practice
they played at the Christmas eve services.
With the help of the memorial Fund three octaves of Marmark English
Handbells were purchased and the Trinity Belltones moved back
into Trinity Lutheran Church under the direction of Chuck Orr.
The Belltones include regular members and substitutes. They try
to play in church at least once a month. They have also played
at the Baldwin Reynolds House 4th of July Program, a concert at
Stone Methodist Church, and the Handbell Festival in Washington
PA.
The Hand bells are used routinely for call to worships, and they
have been used during Vacation Bible School.
The Trinity Belltone practice is Thursday 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
